    How does the countdown work?

    Open one numbered door each morning from December 1st. Behind it is a single piece with its own illustrated step. Two to five minutes a day — long enough to be a ritual, short enough that nobody skips it on a school morning. The last door, on Christmas Eve, holds the manger.

    What are the figures made of? Are they hard to build?

    Interlocking bricks in solid, colorfast plastic — they snap together by hand, no tools and no glue. Each figure is a handful of pieces, not a hundred. Rated 14+ by the manufacturer because of small parts; younger children build it beautifully with an adult, which is most of the point.

    Orders ship within 48 hours. Delivery takes 7-14 business days. To open Door #1 on December 1st, order by November 20th — after that date we can no longer guarantee the calendar arrives before Advent begins.

    30 days from delivery. If it isn't what you hoped for, send it back for a full refund. If it arrived damaged, don't send anything back — we replace it.

    What if a piece is missing?

    We ship you the missing piece free. No photo evidence, no return required — just tell us the door number. A nativity with a missing shepherd is not a nativity, and we are not going to argue with you about it.

    Do I need any building experience?

    None at all. Each door holds one piece with its own illustrated step. It is designed so a child can do it and an adult still enjoys it.

    What happens after Christmas?

    The nativity stays up through the season, then packs back into its own box. Every piece returns to its numbered door, so next December you start the countdown all over again. Most advent calendars are gone by the 25th. This one becomes the thing the family gets out every year.
